AboutCamdenCountyEmergencyManagementAgency(EMA):TheEMAisresponsibleforthemanagementofall
emergencypreparednessprogramareaswithintheCounty.UsingtheprovisionsofGeorgiastatutes,theAgencyisresponsible
fordevelopingandimplementingcomprehensiveDisasterplanning,Mitigation,andResponseactivitieswithinCamdenCounty.
Additionally,theAgencyalsodevelopsandmaintainsemergencyplansforalltypesofnaturalandman-madehazards,and
providestheanalysisandrecommendationsnecessarytomakedecisionsthatwilleffectivelysavelivesandprotectpropertyin
suchemergencies.
