18,2017inAlma,Georgia.The4-H’erswereaskedto
selectatopicofinterest(projectarea)anddevelopa
demonstrationtopresentbeforetheirpeersandjudges
withpostersandvisualaids.Thiseventisagreat
opportunityforthe4-H’erstoincreasetheirself-
esteem,practicetheirpublicspeakingskills,andmake
newfriends.These4-H’erscompetedagainst13other
countiesintheirprojectarea.
Sixfifthgraders,threesixthgradersandthreeTeenLeaderssleepilyboardedaschoolbusonthemorning
ofthe18"inordertocompeteinDistrictProjectAchievementevent.AllnineCamdenCounty4-H
a
participantsplacedintheircategoryatDistrictProjectAchievement.
