TheCitizens’Academyisaninteractiveprogramdesignedtofamiliarize
thegeneralpublicwiththeroles,servicesandoperationsthatcomprise
CamdenCountyGovernment.Theprogramwillfocusoneducating
residents,businessowners,andinterestedpersonswhoworkinCamden
CountyonhowdailyCountyGovernmentoperationscontributetobuildinga
bettercommunity.VariousCountystaffandelectedofficialswillhostthesessions.
Classesarelimitedtothefirst25applicantssignedup.TheAcademyisa9weekprogramheldevery
Thursdaynight,withtheexceptionofoneclassheldonaTuesdaynightsotheclassmayattenda
CommissionersMeeting,aswellasaSaturdaymorningfieldtripouting.Allcitizensofthecommunityare
encouragedandwelcometoapply.
