TrainingProgram.

IncollaborationwithGeorgiaTrendmagazine,ACCGhostedthe2020CountyExcellenceAwards

torecognizecountiesthathavetakeninnovativeandcost-effectiveapproachestosolvinglocal

issues.Thisyear'sprogramrecognizedinnovativecountyinitiativesintheareasofhealthcare,

infrastructureandtransportation,publicsafety,sustainability,andtechnology.Moreinformation

onCamdenCounty'sprogramwillbefeaturedintheJuneissueofGeorgiaTrendmagazine.

“Countyofficialsareconstantlydevelopingnewprogramsandinitiativestomeettheneedsoftheir

citizens,”saidDaveWills,ACCG’sExecutiveDirector.“Therecipientsofthe2020GeorgiaCounty

ExcellenceAwardsareadirectreflectionoftheinnovationthatoccursincountygovernmentin

ordertomeetthoseneedsandaddresscommunitychallenges.”

anexcellentwayforustogrownewtalentinourdepartmentandsavetaxpayerdollars.”

Since2018,CamdenCountyFireRescue(CCFR)hasgraduatedover30newfirefightersthrough

theirFirefighterTrainingProgram.This10-weekintensivetrainingprogramisdesignedtoallow
