pleasedtoannouncethatRogerNestor,formerChiefofStaffforYorkCity(Pennsylvania)
Police,hasbeenhiredastheRangeMasterforTwoRiversGunRange.Inthisrole,Mr.Nestor
willberesponsiblefordutiestoinclude,butarenotlimitedto:planning,organizing,coordinating,
andmanagingtheTwoRiversGunRange.
Mr.Nestorhasover23yearsofexperienceinlawenforcementincludingextensivefirearms
trainingandinstructing.Additionally,hehasexperienceinstructingFrenchGendarmeriein
Rochefort,FranceandinformalworkwithGermanPolizeiduringalawenforcementexchange
aswellasorganizingcitizenpoliceacademies.
“WeareexcitedtowelcomeRogertoCamdenCountyandlookforwardtohisleadershipatour
newrange,”saidDeputyCountyAdministratorShawnBoatright.“Thecommunityisexcited
aboutTwoRiversGunRangeopeningandwehaveatalentedleaderinplacetomakethisa
greatcommunityasset.”
Mr.NestorhascompletedPennStateUniversity’sPoliceExecutiveDevelopmentProgramin
additiontoLawEnforcementInstructorDevelopmentandPoliceSupervisoryTraining.Hebegan
hisnewroleonMay12,2021.
TwoRiversGunRangeiscompletingconstructionandhiringstaff.Interestedapplicantsmay
applyonlineatwww.camdencountyga.gov/jobs.Locatedapproximatelyonemilenorthofthe
intersectionofHwy40onHwy110inextremesouthwesternCamdenCounty,therangewill
openinsummer2021.
