isseekingqualifiedapplicantstoserveontheWoodbinePublicLibraryBoardofTrustees.
TheWoodbinePublicLibraryBoardofTrusteesiscomprisedofsevenmembersappointedbythe
governmentalagenciesthatfinanciallysupportthelibraryonaregularbasis.Fivemembersare
appointedbytheCamdenCountyBoardofCommissionersandtwomembersareappointedby
theCamdenCountySchoolBoard.OfthefivemembersappointedbytheBoardof
Commissioners,oneshallbeanelectedappointee.
Qualificationsforapplicantsincludethefollowing:
eMustresideinunincorporatedCamdenCounty,Georgia,withapreferenceforresidents
livingnorthoftheCrookedRiverinCamdenCounty;
eMustnotbeanemployeeoranimmediaterelativeofanemployeeoftheWoodbinePublic
Library;
eAbilitytoservea2-yearterm;
eAbilitytoactivelyparticipateintheeffortsoftheWoodbinePublicLibraryBoardofTrustees;
and
eAbilitytoattendquarterlyscheduledmeetingsheldattheWoodbinePublicLibrarylocated
at103E.8"StreetinWoodbine.
Boardmembersshallreceivenocompensationbutmaybereimbursedforanyreasonableand
necessaryexpensesincurredintheperformanceoflibrarybusinessifapprovedbytheWoodbine
PublicLibraryBoardofTrustees.
ThisisthefirstopportunityfortheCamdenCountyBoardofCommissionerstoappointmembers
totheexistingWoodbinePublicLibraryBoardofTrustees.BothcurrentmembersoftheBoardof
Trusteesandinterestedvolunteersareencouragedtoapply.
